Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
No adverse effects are expected if Espumisan is taken during pregnancy and lactation, since the active substance simethicone does not pass from the stomach to the intestine into the bloodstream. However, there are no clinical data on the use of Espumisan in pregnant women.
